Your Own Journey

Not a modified version of one of our standard routes.

A journey built from a conversation.

We have arranged private access to places not open to the public. We have traced family histories and brought clients to farms their ancestors owned in 1820 — and the farmer was aware and welcoming. We have designed days for proposals, for grief, for milestone birthdays, for people who have been to Switzerland many times and felt they had not yet arrived.

Every bespoke journey receives the same foundations: private car, specialist guide, professional photography, a pre-trip narrative that references your specific occasion or interest, and a memory object that reflects your day — not a generic souvenir, but something found or made or written during the journey itself.

Tell us in thirty seconds: where do you want to go, what do you want to feel, or who you are celebrating. We respond within four hours with a question, a proposal, or both.

The bespoke premium is 20% above the nearest standard route price. You receive a custom itinerary in writing within 24 hours of your enquiry. If we cannot design what you are looking for, we will tell you — and suggest who can.

What We Have Built Before

Examples from
past journeys.

01

The 40th Anniversary

A couple from New York on their 40th anniversary. We arranged private access to a chapel in the Bernese Oberland where Swiss weddings have taken place since the 12th century. The memory object: a copy of the chapel's marriage record book, open to the 12th-century page, photographed and printed. They received it as the car reached their hotel. They wrote to us six months later.

02

The Family Heritage

A family with Swiss-German heritage gave us their surname and the region their ancestors came from. We traced the name in the Appenzell cantonal registry and arranged a visit to the farm where their ancestor is recorded as having lived in 1820. The farmer was aware and welcoming. The memory object: soil from the farm in a sealed glass vial. They still have it on their mantelpiece.

03

The Sunrise Journey

A solo photographer asked for something he had never photographed before: the Matterhorn reflected in the Riffelsee at first light, before any other visitor arrived. We designed a 05:30 departure, a guide who had done the walk many times at that hour, and a personal driver. The memory object: a print of the best photograph of the day, delivered to his hotel room that evening.

04

The Proposal

A guest asked us to help arrange a proposal at a specific location above Lake Lucerne. We scouted it, identified the exact moment in the day when the light and the solitude aligned, briefed the guide on exactly what was needed, and arranged for the answer — whatever it was — to be followed by champagne at a restaurant we had already booked. They are married. They came back the following year for their anniversary.
